I think you'll find it was set up with a few engineering errors for students to find!!!!!

Duncan, the little sods found more defects than I knew that I had. Seems like the car needs a complete rebuild before I dare drive it again, lol.....

I said to the guy manning your car that people would find more faults than you knew were there. The idea of the stand, for those that missed it, was that there were 5 specific faults with the car (loose bolts in various places) that people at the show were encouraged to try to find. They were trying to encourage new scrutineers. Most of the people passing had to be guided towards the faults, but some found them pretty quickly, from what I saw. The seat belts and loose wheel were pretty obvious, but the thing to note was that many people were afraid to touch the car and you can't scrutineer a car visually...
