UHR running slow for me

On my PC/Windows 10 UHR for the last 4 weeks runs really slow. It used to be magic-fast. If I open UHR and click on (say) Suspension & Chassis or any other section it takes about 5 secs to bring it up and open.
Every move between sections takes exactly the same time, it feels so slow compared to what it was.
If I go on UHR via my iPad it runs really fast as it used to.

Similarly, I have a monster thread on Ten-Tenths and now that is exactly the same change. Fine on the iPad.

This points to my PC, but BTDBTDBTDBTD etc etc all run as fast as each other and as fast as UHR used to.

Is there a solution or reason for this change?

I have Google Chrome.
But why do most work quickly and UHR and 10/10ths run slow?

Hi;
1.Try clearing you browser cache in all the browsers couldn't tell how to do this in chrome but in Edge go to the ... in right top corner and right mouse click-settings-clear browsing data-choose what to clear , and tick all the boxes and then clear.(this will clear most passwords as well)
2.Go to windows admin tools in start menu and select disk clean then clean all files including clean up system files. That should clear most junk out.
3. Iobit system care has a free windows software that I find helpful in situations like this.
4. If none of above help try restarting your modem.
5. If all this fails obtain shot gun licence remove computer to the back garden and send it to the Silicon After world, not cure, but you most certainly feel better.

Presence of a modem may explain the slow connection...

That a very dated concept you have there.

If its just one or 2 sites in may be some quirk of your antimalware or antivirus.
software .

How many antivirus / safe surfing programs have you got installed ?

As its OK with a different device then its not your connection to the outside world

Hasta

Thank you all.
This slow running occurs only on my 2 year old Lenovo pc with Kasperski security (which can get in the way of a few things unless turned off in part temporarily!) and Windows 10, and on 2 Forums, UHR and now 10-10ths.
Both of these ran great for years until recently and this change does not coincide with any changes to the PC.

All other Forums run great, just as these 2 used to.

If I use my iPad to access UHR and 10-10ths then they are as fast as all the other forums, and Google and others.

So, just these 2 and speedy as anything else until recently.
I've had Kasperski for years.

10-10ths slipped to slow mode about 3 weeks after UHR did.

Bit of a mystery?
