Hewland Mk8/9 Info.

Can someone please advise me whether the two large rear nuts on the G/box have to be removed before I can extract the gear clusters. I suspect that the top one ( L/H thread one) will need removal. Unfortunately, the box is on the bench so this could be difficult now. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

Thanks again guys. Stripped the box today and seemed easier than doing an FT 200. Very handy links you all recommended. Great source of info. Thanks.

I agree the video is performed a bit crude and I certainly would not work like that, but it is a guide to the basics of stripping the box. Not a good example though to someone who is totally na´ve, really.
