Being pedantic here but all cars are moving when they break the beam . The question is how fast they are moving at that point

But it is all OK because the startline marshals Right arm is calibrated.

That's right Steve, in France we park as far back as we can in a 1 mtr box, then go on green. Same for every one and marshall's aren't having to man handle cars into position.....

I didn't see the programme but there are beams in the bottom of the black and white start arch and that is where they seemed to be lining them up to - though in the shoot out it seemed to be more by eye than using the lights so maybe they went out of alignment. They would be awkward to adjust with that arch around them.
