Shelsley Mod prod record

As it seemed to go unnoticed by the commentators at the time , no doubt due to the lack of class records shown in the program , a big well done to Andy Griffiths who took 3/10 tenths of a sec off Ash masons class record of Shelsey to reset to 28.33sec.
Who knows with fresher engine we could be looking at a 27 sec run if it all comes together

Yes. indeed

Yes, a great run Andy, founded on a sensational (for a Caterham 7) 1g start. It will take some beating, that's for sure. Big Congrats.

And Alan the mad evo mini pilot got within a few tenths of the record for closed roof cars - another impressive performance (as well as his 1.75s 0-64 foot time on one of his runs on Saturday).

Really did not think the record was on this year with the engine spec as it is but over the moon with the record.

Also Steve Darley took the Over 2000 Road Going record down to an astonishing 29.68 (on only his 8th ever run up the hill)

Didn't Steve Darley break the record on all four timed runs?

Yes. Incredible to watch on his last run through Kennel. Beast of a car.
