Anyway, irrelevant in the scheme of things, hope you are keeping well mate.

Right James. I was a member of a club years ago and they had a column in the bulletin called 'Where are they now' and I remember some one asking where some one had got to as they hadn't been around for a while and a member simply said, 'Oh he's been dead ages. We all lose people who we are close to and it hurts but life goes on, its the way we get the news. As for me, not doing too bad, got rid of bladder cancer, and last week end struck down with psuedogout which put me in hospital for a week, where the hell did that come from. Helping out at Shakespeare County raceway over the Bank holiday then doing NSCC Blyton the week end after. Already started making plans for next year.....

For what it's worth!
Title suggested to me that someone was enquiring as to Lee's whereabouts.
This might be a question of "Glass half full or half empty"?
We must stop making people wary of posting as this still remains the No.1 site for information, and other interesting pieces about the Sport!!!!

I agree, whilst I can see that some, like James, might read the original post caption as being negative I personally didn't see it that way. Like you I read it as being about Lee's whereabouts. I guess we all interpret things differently, but let's not get to tied up in this.

I'm glad a few people have jumped to my defence. I don't often post here and didn't know what the correct etiquette was. To be shot down in such a fashion has put me off a bit to be honest.

And I don't blame you, talk about over the top responses to a question.
Anyone would have thought he died the way some of you have carried on.

I didn't read it that anything bad had happened to Lee. Political correctness gone mad.

Lots of hand-wringing and over-reaction here: original thread title could have been better-worded: hence the advice. No-one was shot down or whatever and people need to stop getting offended over a mild admonishment.

Glad that Lee is doing well but still sadly missed on the hills!
