Rev Barry

So sad to hear of the loss of Rev Barry, one of the great and unique characters of of our sport, he most certainly lived his life to the full.

R.I.P.

I didn't know Barry well but I had the pleasure of sharing neighbouring 5a paddock space with him a few times over the last 7 years and he always made me laugh. His passion for the sport and "can do" attitude was fantastic...

Condolences to Eve and the rest of the family.

Ed

My condolences To Eve and all Barry's family and his large "flock", he was certainly one of our sport and lifes charactors who always cheared me and the whole paddock up.
You certainly heard him before you saw him.
As Steve said we will all miss him.

'The Mad Vicar' as he was affectionately known. Allan Staniforth used to tell a story about Barry doing practice then shooting off to do a wedding and getting back for the last timed run. A great character who will be sadly missed in at Northern meetings. Hopefully Eve will continue to campaign the wonderful RBS machines.
RIP Barry

Eve will continue with RBS for the time being. Our next outing is Barbon. I'm spanner monkey but I'm a poor substitute for the Reverend. We press on as he would have wished.

So sad to hear that Barry is no longer with us. I missed his last birthday party as we were in Portugal but I’m glad I popped round for a coffee and a chat after the New Year. Craig please let me know when and where the funeral is, also if you and Eve need any help with RBS you know where I am.

Hi Mel,

The announcement of Barry's death is on the main News page. Funeral details can be found there and I will keep it updated with any further detail as Eve lets me know.

I'll manage the info that way so that it is all in one place.

Regards, Craig
