As a novice to the Hill Climb scene, could someone explain how the leaders championship works please?

Class based championship that runs along side the British Hillclimb championship at most events ( just misses out Ireland and the channel isles).

Point are scored for 1st to 6th in class like the old F1 points ( 9,6,4,3,2and 1)
But you do need at least 4 in the class to get the 9 points.

Absolutely Andy, taking my steering wheel elsewhere now

Seriously, contemplating further a field stuff next year with an eye on Harewood still. Cant complain (and wont), First season of hill climbing and i won the Harewood Championship, and second season i was second. Need to stop the trend for the 3rd year

Bringing this to the top, how does the 2016 scoring system work? I've read the regs but want to double check my interpretation...

On events where there is a Saturday and Sunday are both days 2 seperate rounds? I.e. timed runs on Saturday is one round and timed runs on the Sunday another round?

Also the single day events - do these count double? I ask as it appears its best 18 from 28 rounds but there are only 25 rounds listed (11 double weekends and 3 single weekends)

Thanks

Works as the top 12, separate scoring for the first and second runs. Will give a reason to try if it rains halfway through the day.

Justin,
two day events are practice on Saturday, and timed runs on Sunday, with each timed run to count as separate leaders rounds.
