Few questions regarding my 4x4 Jwrc fiesta cosworth

Hi

I am new on here and was pointed in this direction by GrahamB with the Mygale,

I have a jwrc kitted fiesta 4x4 cosworth that I have built over the last 7 years and I am looking at what it would take to bring it up to standards to do sprinting

I am reading through my copy of the 2016 blue book as I do not have the 2017 one yet but it's always. Enter to speak to people up to date on the rules and regs

The car runs a cosworth YB 1993cc turbo charged engine with a skyline Gtr r33 gearbox with active G sensor controlled centre clutch pack controlling variable torque split from full rwd to full 4wd

The car is fully taxed insured and mot'd so fully road legal but is full caged and stripped out with a semi space frame front end

The car would be trailered to events regardless of it being road legal in case i break it on the day etc

Would I be correct that this would be entered under the "sports libre" class and need the "National A" license

Also I've put a few pictures below, can anybody see anything obvious that would not be allowed or need changing to meet the rules and regs for this class?

I am already aware I would need to do the following.......

*Make a firewall/enclosure for the boot mounted ally fuel tank
*stickers for external fire and kill switches
*new in date fire extinguisher cylinder

Would the electric power steering pump with built in fluid reservoir in the passenger footwell and the gearbox centre clutch pump fluid reservoir behind/under the passenger seat be allowed?

Thanks for any help and info in advance

Marc

Love it :)
Sports Libra Yes >2L class so you can use slicks. You can't just get an A licence but if you run it as road legal in sports Libra there may be a chance of you using lesser licence to get signatures.
Don't need a fire extinguisher

Lovely car - well done! As Rob says Sports Libre over 2000cc - extinguishers not required but if present have to be in date - bizarre!

To run in the Over 2 litre class on a Nat B license the car will have to be "fully road legal" which includes Tax, MoT and Insurance plus you will have to have your driving license with you as well.

Once you have upgraded to a Nat A I would advise getting the car MSA Log Booked.

Hi

I have just registered on the msa website to apply for the national B but you can't use the site on your phone so il donit when I get home

As said the car is fully taxed and Mot'd & insured and obviously I have my driving license so that's no issue

Then from what I read I need upgrade signatures from events to get to national A status,

What is involved with getting an MSA log book for the car?

Thanks for the quick reply's.........I'm in no major rush as busy with getting married this August but once that is done I look forward to getting a lot more use out of the car as I've only managed a few track days here and there over the last 2 years since it's been completed

Certainly looking forward to seeing it. Maybe get along to a sprint or hill climb event and checkout the classes .
